In recent weeks, our Niederwinkling site has welcomed numerous students from various universities, including groups from the Technical University of Munich (Straubing campus), the University of Ulm, the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), and the Technical University of Nuremberg.
During factory tours, the students gained exciting insights into the work of our subsidiaries VTA Verfahrenstechnische Anlagen GmbH & Co. KG and MAX STREICHER Anlagentechnik GmbH & Co. KG. Company presentations and specialist lectures on the topics of thermal material separation, biogas feed-in, and gas pressurecontrol and measurement systems were followed by detailed tours of the production halls and plant areas. This gave the participants practical insights into development and manufacturing and allowed them to discuss technical issues with our experts.
A special item on the agenda was the presentation of thin-film and short-path distillation by VTA, which explained the wide range of applications for this technology—from chemicals and pharmaceuticals to food, polymers, and recycling processes. In addition, the MAX STREICHER Anlagentechnik team provided information about the wide range of entry-level opportunities for students, from internships and theses to career entry.
Finally, personal conversations and a group photo provided an opportunity for exchange and networking.
