A total of 2,400 participants took part in the HTT trails around Freyung (Freyung-Grafenau district), Regen (Regen district), Hauzenberg and Bad Griesbach (Passau district), as well as Moos and Rusel (Deggendorf district) – including around 120 STREICHER employees and their families. Once again this year, our sponsored trail, the STREICHER Hoamat-Rundn on the Rusel, was particularly popular with STREICHER athletes, who were impressed by its scenic diversity and sporting challenges. The walking discipline also enjoyed great popularity, recording the most active participation with around 90 uploads to the HTT homepage. The kick-off event, “Trail into May,” took place on May 16 on the Rusel. Combined with a school event with around 90 students from the Wallerfing middle school in the morning and a joint HTT event in the evening, the kick-off was celebrated in a sporty and convivial atmosphere – including timekeeping, an award ceremony, and a cozy finale with music and refreshments. On November 12, the Heimat Trails Trophy finally took a break for the winter with a festive award ceremony at BOLZWERK Spiegelau followed by a party.
