The event, organised by the regional management of the Deggendorf district and the TSV Deggendorf, attracted a pleasingly high participation of approximately 1,100 participants.
STREICHER was once again the main and route sponsor this year and supported the event not only with organisational assistance but also actively with its own STREICHER team. Around 30 STREICHER employees took part in the various running events.
Moreover, 40 pupils of the Realschule Osterhofen and 6 pupils of the Business School Deggendorf took part – both for their respective schools as well as for the STREICHER team. STREICHER provided specially printed red STREICHER sports shirts for the young people and covered the entry fees.
The Two-Bridges-Run consisted of three routes: the 1 km STREICHER Junior Sprint with a total of 266 participants, the 4.2 km T.CON Team Run with 430 finishers, and the 8.4 km Power Run with 397 runners. During the award ceremony, STREICHER also handed out the three main prizes for the winners of the STREICHER Junior Sprint: four free tickets each for the Bayernpark and the Edelwies Adventure Park, as well as tickets for the toboggan run in St. Englmar.
The event was designed as a company and school run and provided a successful platform for sporting engagement and regional solidarity.
