Successful Start to the Heimat Trails Trophy 2026 at the Rusel

The Heimat Trails Trophy kicks off its final season this year. Under bright sunshine and in high spirits, the official start was given on 8th May 2026 at the Rusel.

In the morning, 40 students from St. Martin Middle School in Deggendorf set out on an exciting STREICHER treasure hunt. Divided into four pirate crews, they helped Captain Max search for the secret treasure message on the STREICHER Pirate Trail. At various stations, they had to solve tricky puzzles and master team tasks — all while collecting the crucial word fragments piece by piece.

The students from our partner school were accompanied by the STREICHER Human Resources department as well as a total of seven trainees who actively supported them. With a little skill and teamwork, all the crews managed to put the collected word fragments in the right order and decipher the secret treasure message. At the finish line, a treasure chest waited for them as a reward — one that could only be opened with the correct treasure message — filled with certificates and goodie bags from STREICHER for the enthusiastic young pirates.

In the late afternoon, things got active once again: Around 50 STREICHER employees with their families and 30 other athletes gathered at the Ruselabsatz to get moving together. Whether on mountain bikes or e-bikes, running or walking — the athletes were highly motivated and in high spirits.

As one of the main sponsors of the Heimat Trails Trophy, STREICHER was on site again this year and provided additional highlights with its own booth. Attractive prizes awaited visitors at the STREICHER Wheel of Fortune, while the original STREICHER cocktail was served as a welcome refreshment at the soft bar. In a relaxed atmosphere, accompanied by music as well as delicious burgers and schnitzel sandwiches, everyone finally wrapped up the successful kickoff event together.
