Of these, 76 young talents from the commercial, technical and industrial sectors alone started their apprenticeships or dual-study programmes at sites in the Deggendorf area, as well as in Linden and Altenmarkt an der Alz. In addition, two new apprentices have joined our subsidiary STREICHER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG at its site in Freiberg. For a total of 20 apprentices and dual students at our subsidiary Tief- und Ingenieurbau Jena GmbH & Co. KG, as well as for one apprentice each at HARTSTEINWERKE Vogtland GmbH & Co. KG in Oelsnitz and STREICHER Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG in Gommern, the first day of training took place on 3rd August 2026.
On their first day, the trainees were welcomed at an introduction event at the headquarters in Deggendorf. The introduction event helps the young colleagues settle in by providing information about the company and the training programme at STREICHER. Safety briefings, as well as an introduction to the JAV (Youth and Apprentices’ Committee) and an overview of various insurance policies rounded off the first part of the event at the headquarters in Deggendorf. The day then concluded with a group photo session at the Deggenau site.
During the first week of their apprenticeship, the young talents then spent two days in Furth im Wald, where our ‘get-to-know-you days’ were once again organised as an orientation for them this year. These included, amongst other things, workshops and presentations focusing on the apprenticeship programme at STREICHER. In addition, various team-building activities were also part of the programme.
