Participants of the Bavarian-Czech INTERREG project ETZ at Kolb Design Technology GmbH & Co. KG

25 students and 8 lecturers from the University of Pilsen and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology visiting Deggenau

On October 19th, 25 students and 8 lecturers from the West Bohemian University of Pilsen and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology visited the STREICHER subsidiary Kolb Design Technology GmbH & Co. KG.

The students were participants in the Bavarian-Czech INTERREG funding project ETZ "Multidisciplinary Training of Student Teams" – a cooperation of MAX STREICHER GmbH & Co. KG aA and the Deggendorf Institute of Technology with the West Bohemian University of Pilsen.

The design, health, mechatronics and industrial engineering students first got a short presentation on the business segments of the STREICHER Group. Subsequently, at the Deggenau location in the Kolb Design Studio, there was a demonstration of the precision layout and modeling machines as well as their applications such as milling or scanning and the Kolb team was available for questions from the 3rd and 5th semester students.
